Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research to Change Its Name

The Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research, which administers the READ JAPAN PROJECT as the secretariat, is changing its official name. The new name, effective April 1, 2025, will be “The Tokyo Foundation.”
The shorter name is actually the one we used before 2018. We have decided to reembrace our roots in an attempt to clarify our mission, elucidate our vision, and reinforce our core values.
We look forward to continuing our work of providing outstanding books about Japan to universities and libraries around the world.
